Prolex™ E. coli O157 identifies E. coli strains associated with haemorrhagic colitis and haemolytic uraemic syndrome from a single colony on selective agar in two minutes; the reagent is designed to remove common cross-reactions with other O and H antigens, in particular E. hermannii. Prolex™ latex agglutination products for detecting and identifying enterohaemorrhagic E. coli, including E. coli O157 and the most common pathogenic non-O157 serotypes. CE marked.
