Microbank® is a ready-to-use system for the long-term storage and retrieval of bacterial and fungal isolates. Each 2 mL vial holds about 25 sterile, chemically treated porous glass beads in a specially formulated cryopreservative, so one vial gives about 25 identical cultures. The preservative supports longer survival of fastidious organisms and higher recoveries. This is the original presentation without the 2D barcode, with a large writing area. Triple-depth threaded cap; withstands snap freezing in liquid nitrogen (vapour phase). 80 vials in a freezer box with see-through lid, number-locator screen and tube collection device; blue beads and caps.
