Microbank® is a ready-to-use system for the long-term storage and retrieval of bacterial and fungal isolates. Each 2 mL vial holds about 25 sterile, chemically treated porous glass beads in a specially formulated cryopreservative, so one vial gives about 25 identical cultures. The preservative supports longer survival of fastidious organisms and higher recoveries. A unique 2D Datamatrix GS1 barcode on every vial and box scans straight into your LIS, removing transcription errors. Triple-depth threaded cap; withstands snap freezing in liquid nitrogen (vapour phase). 80 vials in a freezer box with see-through lid, number-locator screen and tube collection device; red beads and caps.
